Photos of Ooh La La Session‘s Lim Yoon Tek in the military recently surfaced on an online community site. What attracted the netizens’ attention, however, was the other familiar face in the photo.

Lim Yoon Tek donned a playful expression in one photo with former H.O.T member Kangta sitting behind him. In another, the two are snapped riding on the bus together.

The two met and became friends, as they were both stars in ‘MINE‘, the Korean military’s first musical put on by soldiers in 2008.

Lim Yoon Tek who is currently the leader of his band Ooh La La Session was also the leader of the choreography team for ‘MINE’, further garnering the attention of fans.

Netizens who saw the photos commented, “I actually saw that musical back then. I can’t believe Lim Yoon Tek was in it“, “I need to dig up the musical booklet“, and “He was good looking then too. Did he grow his hair for the show?”
