Five-member girl group New.F.O is receiving interest in Korea because of their unique dance routine.

On December 15th, footage of the girls dancing the choreography to their debut song “Bounce” was revealed through their official YouTube channel, and many netizens noted that there’s a similarity between New.F.O. and ‘trend idols’ INFINITE.

The girls’ video brought to mind a powerful choreography point from INFINITE’s ”BTD” — particularly, a move that’s been nicknamed as the ‘scorpion dance’.

Additionally, the girls also released a dance tutorial video where member SOYI, who’s certified to teach hip hop dance, showcases the group’s ‘Goomchi’ dance, which utilizes the heels and elbows. Soyi personally guides the viewers step-by-step, making it easier for them to learn the moves.

Netizens who saw the videos displayed interest in the girls as they commented, “They make the goomchi dance look easy, but it’s rather hard to learn“, “Female INFINITE~“ and “They’re so flexible! The dance seems up to par with INFINITE’s ‘scorpion’ dance.”

New.F.O are actively promoting their first digital single, “Bounce”.

INFINITE to hold their first concert in February 2012 Posted by : dnanshmr

INFINITE will be holding their first concert in February of 2012!

Their concert will be held at the Seoul Olympic Stadium and 8,000 fans are expected to attend. CJ E&M Enterprise will be in charge of the planning, and they stated, “INFINITE is a group that is always in synch and the members are very sincere about their job as singers. Such characteristics will help to make their first concert the best one.”

The members expressed, “We will start off the year 2012 positively with our first concert. We will think of it as a gift of gratitude to our fans and will do our best to make the concert great.”

The concert will be held on February 11th and 12th.

In related news, INFINITE will be releasing a special Christmas single called “White Confession” on December 6th.

Previously, we reported that INFINITE were preparing to unleash their Christmas single, beginning with an official countdown on the group’s official website.

Earlier today, Woollim Entertainment uploaded the official music video teaser via YouTube, which includes various clips of the boys hanging around. A beautiful holiday melody can also be heard in the background, further exciting fans for the upcoming release currently slated for December 6th.

INFINITE’s Sungjong reveals their new luxurious dorm on ‘Strong Heart’ Posted by : dnanshmr

Back in September INFINITE member Woohyun revealed INFINITE’s less than stellar living conditions on SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart‘.

He said that they lived in a worn out place where water leaked from the roof and they had mold on their walls. Their company’s president promised he would move the boys to a better home if they won 1st place in the music charts, which they did with the track “Be Mine“.

On November 15th’s episode of ‘Strong Heart’, INFINITE’s Sungjong appeared on the show and stated, “After INFINITE won 1st place for ‘Be Mine’, our company’s president (kept his promise) and moved us to a new luxurious dorm”.

With that he revealed a video comparing their old and new dorm. The INFINITE members were all smiles proudly showing off their new modern dorm, equipped with a security system along with a large, clean, and very spacious living area. SNSD‘s Yoona and Tiffany also congratulated and complimented the boys on their hard work.

After seeing the video Netizens commented, “Congratulations on moving”, “You’ve become a mainstream number 1 idol”, “Wow a house full of guys are so clean”.

SNSD Tiffany admits she fancies INFINITE’s Hoya Posted by : dnanshmr

On the November 15th episode of ‘Strong Heart‘, SNSD‘s Yoona praised the INFINITE members by saying, “We are cheering for INFINITE. They’re extremely synchronized when it comes to their dance, and they work really hard“.

Fellow member Tiffany added, “When we watch them dance, it reminds us of ourselves when we first debuted“, as she smiled thinking about the past.

MC Lee Seung Gi then bluntly asked Tiffany which member had left the biggest impression on her, causing everyone to jeer at his obvious attempts to create a love line as INFINITE’s maknae Sunjong anticipated her answer. To his dismay, however, Tiffany honestly admitted with a shy smile, that is was “Hoya“.
Sungjong was quick to express his hurt feelings by stating, “Oh, maybe Hoya should’ve come out today instead…“, continuing the laughs on set.

In related news, the SNSD members previously revealed that they were fans of their junior idol group, INFINITE on SBS Power FM ‘Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time‘, garnering the attention of netizens.

Boom, INFINITE’s Sungjong, Yang Se Hyung, Jung Juri and Jo Jung Rin parody SNSD’s “The Boys” on ‘Strong Heart’ Posted by : dnanshmr

On the November 15th episode of SBS‘s Strong Heart, two groups of people parodied SNSD‘s hit song “The Boys“.

Jung Juri and Jo Jung Rin started the show by perfectly dancing to “The Boys” choreography and were later joined by SNSD’s Taeyeon, Tiffany, YoonA and Yuri.



Right after their performance, a reconfigured Boom Academy shocked the audience by doing their own comedic parody to the song.

Due to Super Junior‘s busy schedule, Boom temporarily had INFINITE‘s Sungjong and comedian Jang Se Hyung as replacement members in Boom Academy. The three then hilariously dressed as the SNSD members and danced to “The Boys” choreography.

In particular netizens pointed out how pretty Sungjong looked dressed up as Tiffany, with a wig and purple dress. Check out their performance below!

INFINITE member Woohyun shared an adorable selca photo with his fans.
On the 17th, Woohyun wrote via his official Twitter , “I’ll be back in one piece. It’s really cold these days. Please make sure you guys don’t catch a cold. Fighting. My loves, you’re going to wait for me, right?”

In the shared photo, Woohyun is wearing a hunter green winter jacket and smiling gently for the camera. Next to him is fellow member Sungyeol who charmed his fans wearing a red sweater and an adorable wool hat.

Netizens who saw the photo remarked, “They have such milky skin“, “I guess Infinite went to Japan. I’ll wait for you“, and “I’ll look forward to your Japanese promotions“.

INFINITE will be releasing their first Japanese single, “BEFORE THE DAWN (BTD)” on the 19th to officially kick off their Japanese promotions.

INFINITE members take care of three puppies Posted by : dnanshmr

On the November 19th episode of KBS ‘Freedom Declaration Saturday - Birth of a Family‘, the INFINITE members passed the auditions required to earn themselves a new pet family.

Along with the ladies of A Pink, INFINITE overcame the fierce competition which consisted of MBLAQ, SECRET, and the GAG Concert comedians. However, the INFINITE boys were able to triumph and become the temporary guardians of three new puppies.

2-month old Baekgoo, Hwanggoo, and Heukgoo were physically abused by their previous owner, but were saved when the village citizens reported the case to the authorities.

The INFINITE members who met the young pups after Shin Bong Sun intruded into their new dormitory were smitten at first sight. Although the dogs were afraid to get close to the members, they still stole the hearts of the INFINITE boys who worked hard to become their guardians.

The puppies remembering the previous owner’s abuse took some time before they eventually warmed up to INFINITE and were even able to fall asleep while being embraced by the members.

The episode also features the A-Pink members who frantically tried to cover their makeup-less faces when Boom suddenly intruded into their dormitory.

After gathering 10,000 fans to commemorate the release of their Japanese debut single, “BTD”, the boys of INFINITE have more reasons to celebrate as “BTD” debuted at number 2 on the Oricon Daily Chart.
“BTD” sold a total of 15,281 units on the first day which was just behind Not Yet and their single “PERA PERA PERAO“.

10,000 Japanese fans gather for INFINITE’s album release event Posted by : dnanshmr

On November 18th, INFINITE held an event commemorating the release of their Japanese debut single, “BTD”.

In addition to a press conference held with major Japanese media outlets, the boys also put on performances for the 10,000 fans that had gathered to witness the event.

Five tracks in total were performed, including “BTD”, “Can You Smile”, “Be Mine”, “Paradise”, and “Nothing’s Over”. Their “scorpion dance” from “BTD” had made a particularly big impression on both the fans and reporters at the event.

After the mini concert, INFINITE held a ‘High Touch’ event with the fans, which gave fans a chance to see the boys up close, and a chance for the members to express their gratitude.
Overcome by emotion, some fans were seen shedding tears of joy after the event.
