Representing the three major agencies, Big Bang‘s T.O.P (YG Entertainment), Wonder Girls‘ Sunye(JYP Entertainment), and SNSD‘s Yoona (SM Entertainment) have volunteered to show their support for the SBS ‘Survival Audition K-POP Star‘ contestants. Viewers are already curious as to what kind of wisdom these three will share with the hopefuls. Reportedly, they showed their professionalism and sincerity by offering good pointers, and encouraging words.
Rather than informing the contestants of what to expect from judge BoA, SNSD’s Yoona drew attention for sharing her thoughts on what label mate and senior, BoA, is like behind-the-scenes. “Senior BoA has a side that’s soft and sensitive. When the SNSD girls spend time with her, she easily jokes around and makes us feel comfortable,” she said. Yoona also reminded the contestants that it is most important to be confident during any given performance.
Big Bang’s T.O.P whose face was captured in the pilot teaser stated, “Don’t try to make up extra things up as you go. CEO Yang Hyun Suk hates when you try to please someone so bad that you make others feel uncomfortable. It’s most important to show him your potential. If you do that, then you’ll have well delivered your true talent.”
J.Y. Park previously remarked that he was determined to meticulously turn each page in his book, so that he would not accidentally skip over someone, ruining their dreams forever. Sunye was deeply touched by his determination, and the singer who auditioned before J.Y. Park ten years ago offered her encouragement to the contestants with, “All of the judges including J.Y. Park are such perfectionists that they will be able to easily catch each of your talents.”
The staff members stated, “Both the staff and contestants are so glad that T.O.P, Sunye, and Yoona have decided to show their support and offer encouragement. We plan on having different artists from the three agencies to do the same. The program will now be even more exciting with the surprise addition of the stars’ remarks.”
In the past, Super Junior‘s Lee Teuk2PM‘s Taecyeon and 2NE1‘s Sandara Park have showed their support, and viewers are curious as to which other stars will offer their advice on ‘K-POP Star’.
Survival Audition K-POP Star airs its first episode on December 4th 6:40PM KST. The winner of the auditions will win $265,000 and a chance to release an international album.

SNSD‘s Yoona was recently in Daegu filming her new drama ‘Love Rain‘ and she perfectly emulated a Korean female college student from the 1970′s.

She was the epitome of purity and innocence. She wore a clean, white blouse under a blue blazer and a flowing skirt to match, showcasing her feminine charm. Her long, straight hair and blemish-free skin only added to her appeal.

In this particular project, Yoona has dual roles, playing the role of feminine and traditional Kim Yoon Hee in the 70′s, as well as Kim Yoon Hee’s bright and bubbly daughter Yuri. She will be developing a love relationship with character Seo In Ha (played by actor Jang Geun Suk).

‘Love Rain’ was written by Oh Suyeon and directed by Yoon Sukho, and it is the first time the two have collaborated since KBS2Autumn Story‘ and ‘Winter Sonata‘ ten years ago. As for Yoona, this is her first drama appearance since ‘Cinderella Man‘ in 2009.

PD Yoon Sukho remarked that “Yoona’s fresh youthful appeal will further enhance the fairytale-like love story“, heightening viewer’s anticipations for the show.

Love Rain is scheduled to debut sometime next year.

On the recent episode of ‘Strong Heart‘, SNSD‘s Yoona revealed an embarassing incident where she ripped her pants during a performance.

Yoona began,”Guys rip their shirts during performances on purpose, but I’ve ripped my pants accidently before. When we held the SM Town concert in the Tokyo Dome, our first performance was a dance performance. The beginning moves consisted of sitting down and standing back up quickly. As I crouched down, I heard a ripping noise. It felt weird, so I danced with small moves trying to cover my rear end as much as possible.

She then continued, “As I was changing, I realized the hole was not on the rear end area. Instead, there was a huge hole at the crotch area of my pants. I was so afraid of seeing pictures of my ripped pants online, but thankfully I saw none. Please do not upload them if you do have any pictures!
