Pagi ini akhirnya para Hottest dapat merasa lega karena kata damai telah dicapai oleh kedua pihak yang terlibat dalam kasus kecelakaan yang melibatkan Nichkhun 2PM. Pagi ini (2/7) JYP Entertainment mengungkapkan hasil kesepakatan tersebut.

"Sejak kecelakaan itu, Nichkhun telah menghabiskan waktunya untuk merenungkan kesalahannya. Ia tak akan menghadiri Konser JYP Nation pada tanggal 4 Agustus," ungkap perwakilan JYP yang dilansir oleh Allkpop.com.

Lebih lanjut ia mengatakan, "Nichkhun telah menunda semua kegiatannya di Korea dan Jepang, kecuali untuk kontrak-kontrak yang telah ditandatangani sebelumnya dan mewajibkan kehadirannya. Ia akan berusaha menghasilkan sebuah solusi yang tak menyakiti siapa pun."

Kesepakatan damai antara Nichkhun dan pihak dari korban kecelakaan tersebut dicapai pada tanggal 31 Juli lalu. Nichkhun pun mengungkapkan bahwa ia ingin memperpanjang masa perenungannya.

"Ia (Nichkhun) memutuskan untuk menjauh dulu dari kegiatan-kegiatannya (sebagai entertainer)," kata perwakilan JYP Entertainment. Hingga saat ini Nichkhun masih belum dapat ditemui media secara langsung. (alk/rzm)

Line-up for Hallyu-themed ’2011 SBS Gayo Daejun’ revealed Posted by : dnanshmr

SBS will be holding their ‘2011 Gayo Daejun‘ on the night of December 29th live at 8:50 p.m. KST!

Representatives of SBS revealed, “We’re preparing stages centered around the theme of Hallyu. Like our previous festivals, singers will be holding joint stages together. The details aren’t hashed out yet, nor are the MCs confirmed.”

Super Junior‘s Kim Heechul and CNBLUE‘s Jung Yonghwa hosted the event for two consecutive years, but as one is currently on army duty and the other is busy with other schedules, SBS has been forced to search for replacements.

As such, Yonghwa will only be performing with CNBLUE for the event. His representative explained,“CNBLUE will be beginning their Asia tour next month so their schedule is booked.”

As of now, the line-up for the ’2011 Gayo Daejun’ includes TVXQ, 2PM, Super Junior, 2NE1, SNSD, Wonder Girls, KARA, B2ST, CNBLUE, F.T. Island, Brown Eyed Girls, T-ara, miss A, f(x), Lee Seung Gi, IU, Kim Hyun Joong, After School, MBLAQ, INFINITE, Dal Shabet, Boyfriend, A Pink, B1A4, SECRET, 4minute, G.NA, SISTAR, Davichi, K.Will, TEEN TOP, Rainbow, and U-KISS.(The list may be changed)

2PM and Coca-Cola team up to deliver a special Christmas video Posted by : dnanshmr

Throughout the year, 2PM has been actively promoting for Coca-Cola‘s ‘Open Happiness‘ campaign, and now they’ve returned with a special Christmas-themed video.

On December 1st, the campaign shared a special clip that started with Chansung barging into the practice room, insisting that the other members had to follow him. Curious, the members walk into the foyer and encounter a double-stacked Coca-Cola machine, which required some creative problem-solving skills to hit the dispense button.

2PM show off their acrobatic skills by jumping, climbing, and even pulling up some of their old choreography to try and smack the button.

Throughout the video, fans were able to see a more personable side of the 2PM members, as they acted naturally while joking around with each other. “They are hilarious. I miss them”, “What are they doing??? hah! There are better ways to get that coke”, and “Kkyah! omg this is super cute. Only 2PM would do that”, fans gushed.

It was revealed through the video that the machine was a surprise Christmas gift from 2PM to their managers. Chansung explained through his Twitter, “Aw~ I sweat so much every time I practice, but I feel bad alway asking my managers to get me a drink. ㅠㅜ hyungs, I’m sorry~~!”

Singles released on the 30th by artists such as ‘TVXQ‘, ‘FT Island‘, and ‘T-ara‘ have made their way to the top of the Oricon Singles Chart.

TVXQ’s first Christmas song, “Winter“, seized the #2 slot on the Weekly Oricon Single Chart, selling 76,615 copies on the first day.

Furthermore, FT Island’s “Distance” and T-ara’s “YAYAYA” came in at #4 and #7 respectively, while “This Christmas” a collaborative effort by the JYP Entertainment artists came in at #14.

In related news, 2PM‘s first full-length Japanese album ‘Republic of 2PM‘ sold 25,756 copies on the first day and seized the #2 slot on the Oricon Album Chart.

2PM member Nichkhun recently updated his Twitter with a cute baby photo!
Amusingly, he wrote, “I didn’t know I had a twin brother~“, referring to the strange doll sitting beside the baby Nichkhun.
Some of the comments left by netizens include, “This is super cute!“, ”Haha, your twinnie brother’s smile!“, and “Your twin looks so evil…”
Meanwhile, 2PM successfully wrapped up their first concert for the ‘Hands Up Asia Tour’, and will commence with their second concert in Seoul later today at 6PM KST.

2PM holds a successful first concert to kick off their ‘Hands Up Asia Tour’! Posted by : dnanshmr

On September 2nd, ‘Beast idols’ 2PM finally held their first concert for their Asia tour, “2PM HANDS UP TOUR CONCERT“!
As they made their entrance on stage, the boys were greeted by the screams of 7,000 fans at Jamsil Gymnasium. Kicking off the concert with “HOT“, they then put on impressive visual stages for ”Electricity” and “Hands Up“, which utilized a glow-in-the-dark concept and a laser show, respectively.
Additionally, the boys brought out charismatic performances of “I Was Crazy About You” and “Tired Of Waiting“. By this point, 2PM successfully heightened the atmosphere in the stadium, and confirmed with fans that they were the best performance group in Korea.
The members’ solo performances especially stood out. Junho and Wooyoung performed “By My Side“, while Chansung showed off his masculine charisma with an aggressive “Revenger” performance. Junsu delivered an emotional live for “Alive“, and Nickhun and Taecyeon performed a duet of “My Valentine“. Fans cheered wildly as they then performed “Itaewon Freedom“, which featured a cameo appearance from singers UV .
With amazing performances, stellar live vocals as well as colorful stages, this 2PM concert made the crowd’s hearts beat with excitement and sheer satisfaction. The concert was applauded as a success, and the boys hope to deliver even better ones for the future stops.
2PM stated with overflowing joy, “We waited patiently and prepared diligently for today, the day we got to meet with our fans. The two hours we spent together was like a happy dream. Armed with the love and energy that fans gave us today, we will show an even better stage for our Asia Tour. For the people who suffered for our fans and our concert, thank you. We will always be a 2PM who tries our best“.
2PM will kick off their Asia Tour with a two-day concert in Seoul on September 2nd and 3rd.They will head to Taiwan for October 8th, Indonesia for November 11th, Singapore for November 19th, Malaysia for November 25th, the Philippines for November 27th, and Beijing for mid-November. In December, 2PM will embark on a nationwide tour in Japan.
